About the Breed

Do you want to know more about this breed?

Siberian cats are a breed of domestic cat that originated in Russia, specifically in the Siberian region. They are a natural breed. This means they were not selectively bred by humans but instead evolved naturally over time.

These cats are known for their thick, luxurious fur, which helps them survive the harsh winters of their native region. Their fur is also hypoallergenic, which means they produce fewer allergens than other breeds. This makes them a popular choice for people with allergies.

Siberian cats are typically medium to large in size, with muscular bodies and round faces. They come in a variety of colors and patterns, including solid colors, tabbies, and bi-colors.

Neva Masquerade Siberian cats are a colorpoint variation of the Siberian cat breed. They are named after the Neva River in Russia, which flows through St. Petersburg, where the breed originated.

Neva Masquerade Siberians have a distinctive colorpoint pattern, with blue eyes and darker points (ears, face,  legs, and tail).

Siberian cats are known for their friendly, sociable, and affectionate personalities. They are intelligent, playful, and curious, and they enjoy interacting with their human family members. They are also good with children and other pets, making them a great choice for families.

Overall, Siberian Masquerade cats are beautiful, loving companions for those seeking a friendly, hypoallergenic cat with a unique color pattern.
